Additional Choices

At Morse Funeral Services we believe that providing a family with choices when arranging a loved ones funeral is extremely important and allows you to make informed, appropriate decisions when arranging a bespoke and fitting farewell for your loved one.

Funeral Fleet

There are several modes of transport from our Mercedes Hearse and limousines and black Jaguar Hearse or something a little more unique such as a Harley Davidson motorbike or Range Rover Hearse. We can also provide Rolls Royce Phantom following cars in stead of a black limousine or mini buses for larger travelling groups.

The possibilities for alternative, unique and fitting modes of transport for your loved one on the day of their farewell are many, please do ask if you have any specific requests.

Horse Drawn Hearse

Our traditional Horse and glass carriage is a magnificent sight to behold especially when planning a cortege from your home address and adds that extra something to your loved ones farewell. Options can either be a pair of black or grey horses which can be increased to a team of 4 or 6 or a pair of out rider horses to lead a motor hearse on its final journey.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about our horse drawn funeral or any of the examples of alternative transport and their respective costs.

Memorial & Keepsake Jewellery

Memorial jewellery is a beautifully discrete way to remember your loved one and to keep them near. You may wish to retain a small quantity of ashes in the form of hand made pieces such as pendants, earrings, rings, charm beads and paperweights made by Ashes into Glass.

We are also able to offer fingerprint items where a loved ones finger print can be set into items such as a necklace, ring or cufflink. Please ask if you would like a brochure showing you the full range on offer.

Please ask us if you would like a brochure showing you the full range available or for a free Ashes into Glass order pack please follow the link to their website.

Scatter Tubes

Scatter tubes provide a discreet, practical and aesthetically pleasing way to receive loved ones ashes.

A range of designs and sizes allows for ashes to be split between family members if you so wish, these are contained securely within the biodegradable tube and are designed for ease when it comes to scattering ashes in your chosen location.

Stone Masonry

Following a burial you may require either a new headstone or the updating of an existing memorial with an additional inscription. We are happy to discuss with you your requirements or provide a brochure with a selection of memorials, headstones and kerb sets, cremation memorials and cast iron memorial plaques that are available to you, together we will help you create a truly fitting, lasting memorial to your loved one.

Working alongside our skilled stone masons we will advise you on any cemetery regulations which you may need to take into account when selecting your memorial.

We chose Morse funeral services because we had recommendations and read the reviews on line. What you can't get through reading the reviews is the actual care and dedication that Paul puts into the quality of service he provides. Paul started as just a man who took on dad's funeral but left as a member of our extended family.

I am not sure if there are words sufficient to express the gratitude we have for the care we have received from Paul and the team during our time of grief, nothing was too much for him!. The costs were very reasonable and all of the information you need is available on their website which wasn't the case for the others we looked at. Someone told me you get a gut feeling when you find the right person to support you during your time of grief; Morse funeral services went above and beyond!
